Nothing makes me happier than adding another Ultimate couple to the Sydney Kane Photography family. I’ve known Allie and Cam through Ultimate since I was a freshman in college and Allie was a grad student. Over the years we’ve shared a love of our sport and college, even though they were four years older than me and we only saw each other a few times a year at tournaments.

To my generation of JMU Ultimate players, they were a power couple and two of the best players we ever had. To be with them at such an incredible time in their lives is a huge honor. I can’t wait to get to know them even better through our time together.

Allie and Cam met through Ultimate at JMU (and a bit of planning by Cam early in the year). Over the years they’ve shared a love of frisbee, hiking, and good food; now they’re making a life together with those same things in their own fixer-upper. They also got a Great Dane puppy right after their engagement session who will live happily in a home of tall people.

We met for their engagement session in the parking lot of Blackrock Summit and caught up the whole hike there. We spent the whole session climbing over the rocks, checking out the views, and taking in the autumn sunset. Allie and Cam were naturals in front of the camera and kept me laughing the whole time. We captured some of my absolute favorite images that night.

I can’t wait for their postponed wedding next year and a reunion with all my favorite frisbee people. Congratulations to Allie and Cam!
