Blue Ridge Parkway Engagement Session | Justine & Haden
These two are a real life example of love at first sight. Justine and Haden met while sitting out on the common area at their college when Justine’s friends knew and wanted to talk to Haden’s friends. They struck up a conversation and both immediately knew they were meant to be together. They’ve been dating ever since. They were engaged after a reenactment of the Titanic scene on top of Humpback Rock and have enjoyed months of life together since, especially with their pups, Ruger and Benelli.
We met up at 20 Minute Cliff Overlook on Blue Ridge Parkway this winter for their engagement session, and WOW it was cold!! These two were absolute champs and made it through to sunset. We walked around with Ruger and Benelli, and Haden’s parents held the leashes while we got some cute portraits with just Justine and Haden.
The wind blew right at us for the entire hour and chilled us right to the bones. Our favorite pose was “just keep each other warm!” We even had to take some coat breaks to warm back up, but it was so worth it! The wind and light made for beautiful photos, and Justine and Haden were adorable the entire time. We worked through some crazy weather to get these images, but they will forever be some of my favorites.
I can’t wait for their (warm) wedding this May!! Congratulations Justine and Haden, and I’ll see you soon!!
Here’s an autumn Blue Ridge Parkway engagement session!
