Evening, blue hour, and night portraits! Olivia and I had a blast together getting a variety of photos to celebrate her graduation. She has a background in dance, and it was so much fun getting some action shots!

Olivia is graduating from Wilson Memorial High School and has this perfect green cap and gown to match flowers and greenery. So of course, we started at the Edith J. Carrier Arboretum to compliment her gold floral graduation dress. We went in a “flower child” direction and I’m so glad we did because the flowers matched her dress and cap and gown so well. We got some really great photos with the water and her favorite flowers.  The light made the water golden and matched her hair and outfit perfectly. We got a later start than anticipated but were able to get some super cool blue hour shots and night portraits when we moved to Switzer Lake.

At the lake, we changed to a more boho vibe she was looking for. We got some fun night photos in her maroon dress to start. Then, she changed into her dance tutu and with the last light of the day we got a few fun and artistic dance photos. We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous moon come out during her dance shots. It was a perfect way for us to end the day. They’re different from traditional senior portraits and I always love the opportunity to get creative. The photos came out great, check them out below!

It was an all-around great evening with Olivia. I had so much fun watching her dance for the camera and helping her celebrate! Congratulations to her, I’m so excited to see all that she accomplishes in the future. Keep scrolling to see all the other great photos we got together!
