JMU Graduation Portraits | Bri
Bri and I have known each other since freshman year of college. My best friend Nicole met her during the first week of classes and they’ve been friends ever since. They were hallmates their sophomore year and roommates their junior and senior year. Since she was so close to Nicole, we found ourselves hanging out every time I went over.
When Nicole texted me saying that Bri wanted me to take her graduation portraits, I was beyond excited. They initially wanted to do their session together, but we decided to postpone Bri’s session because her cap and gown and her shoes were all still in the mail (wait until you see her shoes: totally worth the wait).
So a week after Nicole’s session, it’s was Bri’s turn! Nicole joined us so we could get some photos of the two of them together. We started on the JMU Quad to get all of our typical graduation portraits. It turned out to be a really nice day for early November so there were a few people out, but nothing we couldn’t handle.
After we walked around the whole Quad, we drove to the Edith J. Carrier Arboretum to take a few photos in a second outfit. Nicole and Bri have gone to this natural space dozens of times over the years, so it held a lot of good memories for them. We walked around a few paths, enjoyed the ducks in the pond, and used the colorful plants to the fullest.
Overall it was a wonderful session and we got some photos that all three of us will cherish forever. Congratulations Bri!!
