Meghan and Jack’s Stoneleigh Estate intimate Virginia spring garden wedding is an inspiration for couples who want meaningful and beautiful weddings.

Meghan found Stoneleigh Estate on Airbnb while Jack was away in Japan and decided it was perfect for their intimate wedding. This 1926 Tudor mansion comes with 56 acres of gardens, forests, and several bedrooms for guests. It’s made of stone from the nearby Smith River and the interior décor is European chic with modern conveniences.

Most of their 31 guests stayed the night before their morning wedding, and the rest drove in early. Caterers prepared their lunch, florists set up flowers, and everyone else was hanging out and getting ready. It was a relaxed but exciting day for everyone involved.

Meghan wore a stunning dress from Etsy (!!!), Jack wore his military uniform, and their wedding party donned navy blue and dusty rose. The backyard garden held white tables with elegant floral centerpieces and their beautiful cake was setup with florals on its own table.

Meghan walked down the aisle to Jack and her closest family and friends after a relaxed getting ready and a sweet first look with her father. Their ceremony was perfectly them, and afterwards we took family and wedding party photos. Meghan, Jack and I then explored the gardens and manor house for newlywed portraits. Everything was so relaxed and beautiful, and we had all the time in the world.

We ate a delicious lunch and cut the cake (seriously look how adorable Meghan’s parents are when Meghan and Jack cut the cake). Family mingled, played yard games, and enjoyed the day. I left feeling like a part of their family and so many ideas for my own wedding.

Meghan and Jack, you are incredible people, and together you created a wedding day that was perfectly you and a serious inspiration for how couples everywhere could craft a meaningful and beautiful wedding day together.
