Summer Riverside Engagement Session | Veronica & Curtis
Veronica and Curtis met me early in the morning at one of my favorite spots for their engagement session just outside the Stokesville Campground. They were drawn to the greenery, the gorgeous mountain views, and the unique bridge over a rushing creek.
In between dodging cars and work trucks, we took these sweet photos and had a great time walking around (slowly so Veronica didn’t hurt her already injured ankle haha). We started on the road by the church with the view of the cow fields. Then we walked across the field and down the hill to the water. We walked along the rocks in the cool morning and had the entire place to ourselves.
The bridge is one lane with minimal traffic so we took our time walking around it, and were given plenty of warning whenever a car was approaching. Veronica and Curtis planned their outfits perfectly for this spot!
We ended the engagement session at the greenery right next to where we parked our cars (literally a few feet away). This whole area is gorgeous, and it was their perfect introduction to Virginia.
I’ve already photographed their Blue Ridge Parkway elopement, and it will be hitting the blog in the next few weeks! Congratulations to Veronica and Curtis!
I’m obsessed with this view! I mean both the mountains and these two 🙂
We went from this sweet moment above to Curtis saving Veronica from falling in the photo below haha! It turned into a cute photo so it was worth it 🙂
When the light finally peaked in through the clouds! Absolutely obsessed with this shot and these two.
You’d never believe that their car is just out of frame to their left. What a beautiful location!
