Mama Mia…here we go again! Another 2021 JMU grad session is in the books. I had a great time getting some amazing photos with Jensen. We had a blast getting creative and running all over the Quad. First, we started the day on JMU’s campus, dodged some rain, and then ended at Switzer Lake.

While we had a bit of a hiccup with the quick rain shower, they resulted in some of the prettiest Burrus fountain photos ever. The sun hit the water and ended in these sunlit and sparkling photos. One of my favorite photos is of her kicking the water in the Burrus fountain with her champagne bottle. We hit the Madison columns and all the other iconic campuses before heading to Switzer Lake to catch the last light of the day.

After changing into this gorgeous dress, we took some fun blue light photos. She gave MAJOR Donna from Mamma Mia vibes in all the best ways! I’m obsessed with the black and white lakeside photos. We had SO much fun playing around with details and colors together. I love any opportunity to get extra creative! In 10 minutes, I took the same number of photos as I did in 1 hour on the Quad!

Jensen is a part of Intervarsity and Delight Ministries at JMU. Just like Donna, she also loves traveling, reading, and thrift shopping. She and her friends love a good game night and exploring downtown Harrisonburg. After school, she’ll take a gap year. Maybe travel to Greece and fall in love??

I had an incredible time working with her and the photos turned out great. We both had tons of fun and couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Congratulations on graduating Jensen! I wish you the best and enjoy all your Donna-like adventures in the future!
