JMU Graduation Portraits | Lexie & Karly
At this point, all of my seniors know each other. Lexie and Karly saw the photos I took of their friend Becca earlier in the year and wanted fall JMU graduation portraits to celebrate the end of their undergraduate degrees! They brought along their boyfriends Justin and Bryce and the five of us explored the Quad and took pictures with the beautiful fall colors.
We got along immediately and pretty much laughed the entire time. We only meant to get a few photos with Justin and Bryce, but these guys were all so freakin adorable that the wedding photographer in me came out a bit too much and we got tons of couples photos 🙂 No regrets!
Some of my favorite photos came from one of the biggest trees in the Quad that was in peak foliage. We stood on the steps in front of Wilson and took advantage of the dreamiest light! When we went to Burrus Fountain, we had a surprise visit from two dogs that jumped in the water to cool off. Definitely a highlight of the session! We popped champagne when they left and then moved into the Madison Hall columns, where we got some iconic mask photos and fantastic twirling bloopers.
All in all, I had the best time with these four and walked away with some of my favorite JMU graduation portraits ever. Fall is definitely my favorite time on the Quad, and I’d love to get photos of you there too!!
Congratulations to Lexie and Karly!!
