Abigail’s James Madison University Quad and Skyline Drive sunset mountain view overlook senior graduation portraits were some of my FAVORITE from the class of 2021!

We started at the JMU Quad for some classic Duke graduation photos. We got photos with Wilson Hall, her freshman year dorm, and Burrus Fountain, and we were joined by Abigail’s closest college friends, including her freshman year roommate! After sharing some Coronas at the fountain and throwing biodegradable confetti, we left JMU for our second location.

We met back up at Rockytop Overlook on Skyline Drive to catch the sunset and get some mountain view senior portraits. The wind was nuts that day and it made for some awesome photos! We took some photos in Abigail’s white graduation dress and some with her cap and gown, and I’m in love with the way the purple looks against the green and blue mountain backdrop!

Abigail popped some champagne on the overlook and they’re some of my favorite spray photos ever. Dark clouds rolled in so we didn’t get a true sunset, but I’m still obsessed over the colors of that evening!

Congratulations Abigail on graduating!!

The wind was insane! It made for some fun and memorable photos, so the cold in the moment was beyond worth it!

I couldn’t decide between color and black and white, so you get to see both 🙂

Tell me these aren’t some of the best champagne pop photos you’ve ever seen!

Although we didn’t get a true sunset, these clouds made the colors of the landscape stand out. I’m obsessed with the blues, greens, and grays!
